French luxury brand Pierre Cardin has released an exquisite new creation as part of its Spring/Summer 2014 Re-Edit eyewear collection.
The series gets its name from the fact that all pieces all inspired by the brand’s classics, basically being re-releases of vintage models. In this particular case it’s a contemporary re-imagining of a model displayed at the Pierre Cardin Museum in Paris. The sunglasses come in acetate with a futuristic oversized silhouette and a square front, blending sinuous surfaces and sharp lines to great effect.
The contrast is also apparent in the use of 70s-style Optical black/white color and smoky grey lenses, tempered by soft shades of green/havana with shaded brown lenses, purple/havana with shaded grey/brown lenses, total black with shaded grey lenses or havana with shaded brown lenses.
The new addition to the Pierre Cardin Re-Edit sunglasses collection is available at Pierre Cardin boutiques around the world.
