You’ve probably never heard of Helvetic Motro Company or HMC until now but if you’re a fan of retro cars you will definitely remember this company’s name from now on. Helvetic Motor Company has officially revealed their HMC Hidalgo, a beautiful retro-style car based on the Mercedes Benz SLK 55 AMG.

The car is a wonderful blend between the Mercedes SLK AMG running gear and a wonderful Bugatti era styling that will definitely turn a lot of heads on the streets. Under the hood it still features the 5.5L V8 from the SLK AMG which is able to develop 355 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque, which makes it quite an interesting alternative to BMW-powered Morgans.

If the HMC Hidalgo is the car you’ve always dreamed of, you should know that the Helvetic Motor Company only plans to built six examples per year with a price tag of $410,000 each. Exclusivity comes with a price…
