World-famous actor and director Mel Gibson is selling his little piece of tropical paradise on the Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica.
The estate, called Playa Barrigona, consists of three separate homes, and is perched on a hilltop overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The secluded retreat is minutes away from a beautiful white sandy beach and is surrounded by lush jungle.
Each of the three residences is custom-fitted with local Costa Rican woods, as well as Spanish and Italian tiles, and offers spacious interiors, including a living room with vaulted ceilings, a full kitchen, and multiple verandas with ocean and jungle views. A private pool, full air conditioning, and barbecue areas are among the other great facilities enhancing the place.
The most impressive of the three villas is Casa Guanacaste, with its seven bedrooms and eight baths. The other two smaller homes, called Casa Barrigona and Casa Dorada, have two bedrooms, in addition to a poolside cottage and a loft, respectively.
The asking price Mel Gibson has set for, Playa Barrigona, his spectacular Costa Rican estate, is $29.75 million.
