McLaren’s Special Operations division (MSO) has just revealed the 650S Limited Edition to mark the 20th anniversary of the McLaren F1 GTR winning at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
According to the British carmaker, the vehicle is inspired by the victorious Chassis #01 F1 GTR, which means it gets a roof snorkel and small fender vents at the front. The special car also comes with unique forged wheels, orange brake calipers, carbon fiber splitter, rear bumper, and rear diffuser. Finally, the vehicle features a special dark blue livery, giving it an elegant, somewhat serious air.
The car’s powerplant has remained unchanged. Thus the 650S Limited Edition is equipped with a 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine which outputs 650 hp (478 kW). It goes from a standstill to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3 seconds, and can go from 0 to 124 mph (200 km/h) in 8.4 seconds.
The release will be limited to 50 units.
