Kevin Costner seems to be busy right now with much more than brilliant Hollywood productions, and today we’re going to focus on his massive beachfront estate in Montecito, California. The famed actor, director, producer and.. musician has decided to move on from this incredible slice of paradise, which is why he has listed the 10.25-acre property for sale at a staggering $60 million.
Costner bought this property back in 2006, for “just” $28.5 million, and apparently he wanted to build a new residence on the lot, but those plans weren’t carried out. Instead, this property comes with a a charming two-bedroom house, which is not too bad either, if you ask us. Enjoying serene 360-degree panoramic views from the Pacific Ocean to the Santa Barbara mountains, or savoring the 500 feet of private beach is what really makes this property special.
Located only a few minutes from the Santa Barbara airport and also pretty close to the lovely boutiques, restaurants or cafes in the Montecito Village, Costner’s property could be a nature lover’s paradise or the ideal birthplace of a stunning mansion with all the 21-st century amenities you could ever think of.
The question is: is it really worth the $60 million the actor is asking for it? Well, at least the papers would include Kevin Costner’s autograph, and who knows, you might end up with a famous movie star as your new friend. We have no clue about his hobbies though.
