Nissan GT-R NISMO

Nissan has kept everyone in suspense lately about the hardcore version of the 2017 Nissan GT-R, but this week the wildest GT-R has finally arrived in town. Developed and tested at Nurburgring, the NISMO GT-R features a restyled front end, with a more aggressive bumper, a larger V-motion grille finished in dark chrome and a reinforced hood as well.

NISMO’s front and rear bumpers were constructed out of carbon fiber, since this is a supercar meant for breaking lap records all over the world. Speaking of records and power, the new GT-R NISMO benefits from an astonishing 600 PS (441 kW), with the stiffened body structure and upgraded shock absorbers, springs and stabilizers offering an improved dynamic experience.

The incredible 3.8-liter V6 engine, that’s hidden under the bonnet of the 2017 GT-R NISMO, has been also fitted with a pair of high-flow, large-diameter turbochargers, which take this vehicle to a completely new level. We don’t have any official figures yet, but people are speculating that this ride could do 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds.

Inside the cabin, the NISMO version of the 2017 GT-R shows off a redesigned dashboard and steering wheel, covered with high-quality Alcantara, new Recaro carbon bucket seats covered in leather, and red Alcantara inserts throughout the cockpit.

This spectacular thing will be available in five exterior paint-jobs, and you might remember that Nissan GT-R’s engines are all assembled by hand in Yokohama, Japan. If you’re looking to test out the GT-R, you can get a Nissan GTR from Supercar Hire UK.
