A couple of months ago we’ve presented a comfortable apartment within a cable car hanging high above the French resort town of Courcheval, which was part of an Airbnb program aiming to bring people in unusual destinations for a night. Now it’s time to talk about another such destination, this time a bit further north, but once again are views will be spectacular.
If you follow winter sports, you probably know the Norwegians are really good at them, from skiing, to biathlon, to ski jumping. So it’s not surprising there’s a high-end apartment built atop a ski jump in Norway’s capital, Oslo. Soaring almost 200 feet above the ground, this penthouse of sorts is located above the world’s first ski museum, and has all the winter sports facilities you could ever hope for nearby. In addition to this, guests also get to have breakfast in the VIP lounge.
The apartment accommodates two, and there won’t be any neighbors around (except whatever birds happen to fly by), so you’ll get to enjoy the breathtaking views and all the comforts of this unique spot in complete privacy.
