Just a handful of people have ever heard about this curious metal named zalium, a combination of zirconium and aluminum, used at fine manufacturing, for its elegance, durability and toughness. Harry Winston, a renowned jeweler, trademarked a unique formulation of this metal, treated this metal with Diamond Like Carbon (procedure also invented by Harry Winston) and what results is the Project Z6 Black Edition watch.

The technology incorporated in this exquisite timepiece is quite staggering. It sports a 24-hour alarm clock movement, hand-wound, especially crafted only for this version. In terms of functionality, the timepiece boasts an alarm clock indicator for day and night, day, night, seconds, hour and minute displays.

In addition, the watch also features an On/Off cue to control the alarm. All these are placed on a 44 mm dial face, with the Harry Winston logo being suggestively shown at the 1 o’clock position. The model comes in a limited edition of 300 units, being available right as we speak, at Harry Winston’s shops worldwide, through special appointment.
