The guys at Codemasters have recently announced plans of putting together a unique special edition package of the GRID 2 which will reportedly be called the GRID 2: Mono Edition.

It all costs a mind-boggling $190,000 or £125,000 if you’re British, which is quite a lot for game. But wait a second – this is not just a game, the package also includes a genuine, real life BAC Mono, which is the nice part of it. The sportscar is garnished in a unique scheme to match the artwork on the game packaging. The BAC Mono, in case you don’t remember, is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine developing 280 HP (209 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque. The car sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 170 mph (273 km/h).

In addition to the car and the famous game, the customer will also be presented with a BAC factory tour, a PlayStation 3 and a GRID 2: Mono Edition Bell Racing helmet. The guys at Codemasters have also said something about including boots, gloves and a race suite in the package.

Neill Briggs, the BAC Mono Project Director, describes: “BAC is immensely proud and excited at the release of GRID 2: Mono Edition; a game which offers an opportunity for one lucky person to own a truly unique supercar.”
