Gibson’s Limited Edition Zakk Wylde Moderne of Doom

Zakk Wylde fans, prepare to be blown away. A couple of weeks ago Gibson unveiled a new Wylde guitar, the lovely Zakk Wylde Moderne of Doom. Limited to just 250 guitars, the new Wylde guitar is inspired by the third member of the Modernist Series of the late 1950s: the Gibson Moderne, which was actually never released.

Zakk has been in love with the renowned guitar-maker ever since he laid his eyes on the first Gibson Les Paul and now he’s trying to put a custom touch on a guitar series from Gibson. The limited edition guitar comes with two of Zakk Wylde’s favorite active humbuckers like the EMG85 on the neck and an EMG81 on the bridge, and it also includes a Floyd Rose vibrato that helps a lot with string bending leads and wailing solos.

The Limited Edition Zakk Wylde Moderne of Doom guitar is going to be priced at $2,082 but that’s a small price to pay if you wanna be a rockstar.
