Japanese photography company Fujifilm and British luggage manufacturer Globe-Trotter have teamed up to create a highly exclusive mirrorless camera kit. The set also includes another unique handmade Day Bag, with leather straps, plush internal dividers to protect the X-T1 and its accompanying lenses, embellished with the iconic Globe-Trotter logo.

Each bespoke 21’’ Trolley Case is handcrafted from Grey vulcanised fibreboard on original Victorian machinery at the Globe-Trotter workshop in Hertfordshire, England. This gives each piece a certain air of timeless elegance, which wonderfully complements the state-of-the-art piece of equipment it contains.

That piece of equipment is the X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition, Fujifilm’s latest weather resistant interchangeable lens camera, which has been described as “the jewel in the crown of the advanced X-CSC range.” Also included in the package is one of Fujifilm’s award-winning FUJINON lenses (like the XF23mm F1.4, XF56mm F1.2 R APD, XF18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS or XF50-140mm F2.8 R OIS WR, for any photography aficionados out there), as well as a whole host of accessories, such as lens filters, vertical battery grip, and an EF-X20 flash. As an extra special addition to the release, buyers will also get an engraved iPad Air 2 16GB with WiFi.

Available exclusively at Harrods, these luxurious handmade travel cases have been released as a limited edition of just ten units, each priced at £11,500 ($17,400).
