Los Angeles-based company Peace Bicylce launched a Kickstarter campaign for their Dutch-inspired vintage-style bike called the Dreamer. The company wants to bring a little bit of what made the Netherlands one of the happiest countries on the planet, namely their favored way of transportation, while also helping people who are less fortune. With every purchase, Peace Bicycle will donate a bike for someone in need.
The company offers two models to choose from: the Peace Dreamer Step-thru and the Straight-bar. Both come with a fast 7-speed transmission, balloon tires and an upright-riding-position frame design, with a spring-loaded saddle and a riser handlebar added for improved comfort.
The Dreamer Step-thru is modeled after the classic Dutch bike and features modern styling, up-right seating position, and comes fully equipped. For a bit of customization, choose any one of the four colors offered.
The Dreamer Straight-bar, on the other hand, is sportier and features a more aggressive look and modern styling, and also comes fully equipped. This model offers two colors to choose from.
