Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe Night Edition

Mercedes-Benz has just revealed a new special edition of the S-Class Coupe, that’s going to be showcased for the very first time at the 2016 Detroit Motor Show. Available for order from January 9, in the S400 4Matic, S500, and the S500 4Matic form, the S-Class Coupe Night Edition features a distinctive radiator grille, with a single louver, finished in high-gloss black, while the side mirror caps and the inserts in the side sill panels are also showing off the same shade.

The bespoke version of the S-Class Coupe will also come with AMG front and rear aprons, as well as blacked-out 20″ AMG multi-spoke alloys. It will also feature a special “Night Edition” badge on the front wings and illuminated door sills with Mercedes-Benz lettering, so everyone who will try to get a closer look of this ride will know it’s something special.

On the inside, you get upholstery in fine leathers, Nappa leather or AMG Nappa leather – finished in either a black on black theme or the optional crystal gray/black, saddle brown/black or Bengal red/black. You’ll also find a high gloss poplar wood trim inside the cockpit, and the AMG sports steering wheel will be finished Nappa leather as well.

Engine-wise, you get two options, with the more powerful 4.7-liter V8 – 455 HP and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque – grabbing our attention right now. Mercedes-Benz will bring all three versions of the S-Class Coupe Night Edition to European markets by April 2017, with US customers having to wait until August.
