Cadillac has recently unveiled a new special edition of their Cadillac CTS-V which was dubbed as the Black Diamond and features a special paint job. The car received a tri-coat paintjob with JDSU’s proprietary SpectraFlair pigment which manages to offer an added dimension to the paint.
The SpectraFlair uses aluminum flakes encapsulated in a glass-like substance called magnesium fluoride instead of the classic small bits of metal and the special finish will be available for all three body styles of the CTS-V, Sedan, Coupe and Wagon.
The Cadillac CTS V Black Diamond Special Edition also comes with 19″ wheels finished in Satin Graphite and a high performance braking system with six-piston front calipers and four piston calipers in the rear. Inside, this special edition also comes with Recaro sport seats with 14-way adjustment, French stitched leather and microfiber suede inserts and a Midnight Sapele wood trim.
The price for the Black Diamond special edition starts from $69,190 for the manual gearbox version and $70,490 for the automatic model, around $5,000 more than the standard CTS-V.
