When BMW announces the release of a special edition anniversary series, you just have listen. The German manufacturer has just revealed the M5 “30 Jahre M5” which, as its name suggests (for those of you who understand a little German), celebrates the M5’s 30th anniversary.
This limited edition range will be comprised of just 300 cars, all painted in something called Individual Frozen Dark Silver with dark chrome accents. The model comes with bi-color 20-inch alloys wrapped around in 265/35 ZR20 front and 295/30 ZR20 rear tires, while the interior cabin features a combination of Merino leather and Alcantara with special badging and aluminum inserts.
The BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5” boasts an improved V8 twin-turbo 4.4-liter engine which outputs an impressive 590 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, which pushes the 4,123-pound car to a top speed of 155 mph (with an optional M Driver’s Package increasing the top speed to 190 mph). The special edition M5 can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
