Biré Bitori

The team at Tall Arquitectos seem to have a strong appreciation for the drama of cantilevers, which should explain this incredible expression of beauty. Sitting above Mexico’s stunning Copper Canyon, Biré Bitori is a jaw dropping restaurant which includes a luxury diner and cocktail bar embedded right in the rock face.

Standing high above these beautiful surroundings, this unique restaurant allows visitors to savor wonderful views of the canyon and the famous Basaseachic Falls, while enjoying a fancy dinner and a delicious cocktail. You’ll probably need a high dose of courage to walk across the structure’s vast glass floor, but it’s totally worth it!

The architects’ concept calls for a bar and lounge area situated within the overhanging volume, with a mezzanine level that grants views through the glass floor right to the bottom of the canyon. Copper Canyon is found in the southwestern part of the state of Chihuahua, in Northwestern Mexico and it’s 6,000 feet deep, so you’d better be careful.

The extraordinary complex welcomes its visitors with a minimalist wall, while the interiors show off an overall natural material palette, lined with picture windows. Biré Bitori is surely the best location to savor your coffee and tell your grand-kids about it.
