The Dominican Republic is quite small in size, but it’s one of the most beautiful and breathtaking places from the Caribbean. If you ever want to have a dream vacation here, you could go on the southeast coast at Casa de Campo, a luxurious 165-room resort ready to make your dreams come true and please every need you have, no matter the cost.

One of the most eye-popping features of the resort is the incredible 63-hole golf course, courtesy of Pete Dye. It is divided into the renowned Teeth of the Dog, which comprises 18 holes, 7 of them right near the Caribbean Sea, the huge 27-hole Dye Fore, plus the newest of them all, the Links Course, which is due to be opened during the 1st of April 2012m having undergone complete renovation.

Putting aside the golf courses, the resort can also ensure horse-riding along tropical trails at the local Equestrian Center. Furthermore, guests may also try skeet and trap shooting throughout the Shooting Center that covers a total of 245 acres; cruising or fishing aided by the 370-slip Marina & Yacht Club, spa treatments and lounge at Casa de Campo’s own Spa, playing Polo at the local club, with championship chukkers over three fields and exquisite dining at the collection of five-star restaurants, including the Beach club by Le Cirque, can also be undergone.

In addition, the private beaches are there to help you get a beautiful tan, while the 16th-century Mediterranean village-inspired Altos de Chavon awaits your visit, made solely by hand, of stone and iron, back in the 70s.

Don’t think this is everything they have to offer. Surprisingly, there is more to be said here, like a whole array of restaurants, boutiques, museums, the Altos de Chavon School Design, the 5,000-seat Greek-like amphitheatre, home of international touring shows and the Emilio Robba boutique with handmade pieces from the local artisan-workshops. All of these packed within the small Altos de Chavon.
