Beacon Court Duplex in Manhattan

Please excuse me for a minute, ’cause my mind has been genuinely boggled. I’ve been looking through the pictures I’ve attached and my life’s wishes got completely redone. My God this duplex is beautiful, definitely one of the best I’ve ever come across. It shares an equally exquisite location, at Beacon Court, in the middle of Manhattan, New York City.

With interior decoration to make every architect drool and providing sweeping views over Manhattan, this fabulous duplex is like something I’ve never ever seen. In spite of the fact that it’s currently for sale at $115 million, far from a bargain, it was actually designed by Charles Gwathmey. Highly sophisticated and opulently beautiful, this 9,000-square-foot home astounds everyone with its intricate detailing and stunning build quality. It sports a magnificent double height living room with 24-foot ceiling and two walls of windows through which New York City unfolds its manmade beauty.

It is fitted with Venetian plaster walls, Anigre wood, humongous amounts of stainless steel and exquisite maple flooring. Even the chef’s kitchen is magnificent, sporting top notch stainless steel appliances. Right near the kitchen / dining area there’s a cozy, state of the art media room. In addition, the same level shares a powder room, home office and pantry, two staff rooms with full bathroom and reception room.

The upper level though encompasses a sitting room, an office and two bathrooms with statuary marble walls, sinks, black granite floors and two dressing rooms with custom manufactured cabinetry and ample storage space. And there’s more – the upper levels further houses three BR with en suite bathrooms, laundry and den. It’s pretty futile to start talking about the state of the art technology it comprises, I’ll just mention some of the features – central A/C and heating zones, security system, touch pads throughout which manage temperature, lighting, electronic shades and a lot more functions and Crestron system.

The official description states: “This apartment is a rare combination of grand space, extraordinary light, dramatic views and perfection of design and execution. This memorable home has no equal – a unique New York City treasure.” Thanks to Corcoran Group Real Estate for the pictures.
