Touted as Aston Martin’s fasters, most powerful roadster yet, V12 Vantage S Roadster has just been officially unveiled by the British carmaker.
The new model comes with a ventilated hood, carbon fiber components and black or titanium silver accents, as well as an aggressive grille reminiscent of the CC100 Speedster concept.
Powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine which churns out 565 bhp (421 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque, the car can accelerate from naught to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 201 mph. (323 km/h). The V12 Vantage S Roaster features an adaptive damping system, a two-stage anti-lock braking system, and a three-stage dynamic stability control system, all contributing to improving the vehicle’s performance.
The interior is similar to that of the V12 Vantage S Coupe, notable differences being the new seat and door trim, as well as an optional carbon fiber package that adds carbon fiber trim, carbon fiber door handles, and black alloy pedals.
The new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster is set to hit the market later this year, when pricing details will also be announced.
