Underground Racing have once again taken a supercar to the next level. This time they’ve focused on the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, giving it a huge power boost.
It’s the first Twin Turbo Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 and, to be honest, it’s a whopper. The TT system (which stands for Twin Turbo) was the main priority for the team and an exceptionally great engineering challenge. This involved a huge deal of driving, loads of measurements taken and many sleepless nights, but, in the end, what came out is a pure engineering masterpiece.
As the specialists from Underground declared, Lamborghini have spent quite some time in preventing any further aftermarket modifications to be made to the car. Considering this and the fact that the Aventador LP700-4 is way more advanced than any Gallardo or Murcielago, it’s not hard to figure what the guys at Underground have had to go through.
The main setback regarding the purchase of a TT Aventador LP700-4 is that it can only be acquired with full engine builds. But these pale in comparison with what the guys have actually managed to do: the 1200+ HP car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in a whopping 2.2 seconds, on OEM street tires, with normal air pressure, on a regular road. In terms of control, the car has pretty much remained unchanged, with exceptionally fast shifting speeds, courtesy of Underground Racing with their Quickshift upgrade.
