We were absolutely stunned when we first saw the pictures and heard of the brand new Rimac Concept One, an all electric supercar that’s going to enter production soon. Packing an enormous, 1,088 HP punch, this supercar, built in Croatia, is quite amazing. It absolutely deserves any praise, because it’s gorgeously designed and delivers extremely high performance.

The technical specifications of this incredible vehicle have been made public during last year and sound like this: the engine can deliver 1,088 HP, 3,500 Nm (2,800 lb-ft) of torque, it can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 2.8 seconds and has a range of around 600 km (372 miles). Remember, this is way ahead of common current technologies, this car being fully electric. This supercar is totally not for technophobes.

Although the numbers that characterize this car are way above the figures our minds can comprehend, the manufacturer declared that the vehicles on the way of delivery will boast a drastically reduced torque, of 1,180 lb ft or 1,600 Nm. Still, these numbers are way higher than those produced by today’s supercars.

Furthermore, an interesting concept in terms of the control has been adopted – the manufacturer chose to equip the Concept One with Vredestein Ultrac Vorti high-performance tires, for the best possible grip to aid the four in-wheel engines.

The Concept One has been presented at the Top Marques Monaco recently, celebrating the start-up of deposits and reservations for those who wish to buy this thing of high-tech and beauty. With delivery data related to the year 2013, the prices have been kept in secrecy so far, but, it reportedly costs around $1 million per unit, as we found out in the media.
