The Canados 116 Bertona Superyacht looks amazing

One good word to describe this gorgeous yacht is modernism. The sleek lines of its exterior shape impress with minimalism and a strong character. The Bertona superyacht was launched last year during March, as the last of the Canados 116 yacht. Besides the modernism and minimalism, there’s also a sporty nature to this vessel that makes it remarkable.

The ones that tended with the exterior design are Canados’ in-house Technical Department, while the interiors were penned down by Salvagni Architetti, a studio in Rome, Italy. There’s a feel of exquisiteness throughout the yacht, the entrance being made through the aft deck, a superb dining and lounging area, with modern chairs all over. The whole yacht lacks congestion, which makes the atmosphere extremely aerated.

The main living space on the yacht, the main saloon, boasts two large, white sofas around a black coffee table placed in the middle. The layout is ready to welcome everybody, on the smooth surfaces; the eyes are delighted by the incredible contrast between the reflective black surfaces and the creamy tone of the sofas – this only proves one thing: modesty.

The floors are made of bamboo wood, while the panels are made of teak. The interior of the main saloon is finished with a plush silk carpet and off-white ceilings, adding a small number of knick-knacks. The main dining room features a fine polished ebony dining table, with cantilever chairs all around, courtesy of Mies Van Der Rohe. Right on top of the table there are three reflective metal beams that descend from the ceiling, acting as the chamber’s lighting source.

The grey silk carpet under the feet gives a note of comfort, also acting as a confine of the dining area. Similarly to the main saloon, the main dining room sports statuettes from place to place, adding a little bit of style and originality, also avoiding overcrowding it. The lighting is done through discreetly-placed lamps, while ensuring a pleasant atmosphere to those enjoying their meals.

From the lobby on main deck, a staircase leads to the lower deck, the place where the guest cabins are placed. In the form of two double cabins, a VIP and the owner’s suite, they can accommodate a total of 8 people. Every one of the guest cabins boasts its own en suite bathroom and design schemes similar to all other rooms.

Through this, the yacht shows harmony and simplicity, also assisted by the bamboo flooring that adds a playful atmosphere. It contrasts beautifully with the lacquered ebony surfaces in the door and paneling. The bathrooms include Turkish limestone and teak, all fitted to express minimalism.

The exquisite sun deck can be reached via the main deck. Going on with the luxurious style find throughout the boat, here we find an al fresco dining area and a spot packed with sofas and sun-beds, especially destined for lounge. It’s your own choice to sit in the sun or hide under the shades. The fore main deck features additional sun-beds, along with breathtaking panoramas.
