Breitling has been the aviator’s watch for decades and this time the Swiss brand has created a timepiece dedicated to the most important person on board: the flight captain.

Part of the Chronoliner series, the Flight Captain Chronograph features a broad bezel fashioned from scratch-resistant high-tech ceramic, with a star-shaped cut-out for ease of handling, as well as white ceramic numerals for optimal contrast.

The stainless steel case is 46 mm in diameter and has a ceramic bezel, an AR-coated sapphire crystal, and is water resistant to 100 meters. On the caseback you can see the signature stylized airplanes Breitling is known for. The black dial, on the other hand, features white luminescent hour-markers which stand out against the dark background, in addition to oversized hour/minute hands and counter hands with luminescent coating.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Breitling caliber 24 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph, and a power reserve of 48 hours, which is COSC-certified as a chronometer. It comes with a second timezone in 24-hour mode on the dial and a third timezone indication on the bezel. Finally, the Breitling Chronoliner Flight Captain Chronograph comes on the Ocean Classic mesh bracelet or the Navitimer steel bracelet.
