We’ve seen some impressive things from Lauge Jensen in the past and things can only get better when you work with designers like Henrik Fisker. While his electric car company didn’t exactly take off as planned, this takes nothing away from the Danish designer’s work – something we can plainly see with the showcasing of the Lauge Jensen Viking.

Powered by an old-school, air-cooled Harley twin, the Viking actually features a lot of high-end parts. The metalwork is probably most prominent, with the elegant way it blends into the seat, then back into a wide fender over what looks to be an equally-wide rear tire. The rear suspension is also obscured from view, adding up to a clean, sleek look that fits nicely with the inverted front forks and big disk brakes.

However the most important of the Viking’s components is basically invisible – the bike’s carbon-composite frame, made from a material that is both lightweight as well as amazingly sturdy. This weight-cut is sure to do wonders for the motorcycle’s performance.

For now, the Lauge Jensen Viking a one-off custom concept, but the Danish company seems to have plans to develop it further, touting it as one of the first bikes to comply with the Euro IV emissions standards scheduled to come into effect in 2016.
