I believe Celine Dion is a name that does not need any sort of description. We’re now rather interested in her latest venture in the world of real estate, as she has recently put her custom built mansion in Quebec on the real estate market.
The opulent construction is built upon an 830,000 square feet private island, reminding of French Normand Chateau styles. The mansion boasts with 24,000 square feet of living spaces, entirely lined with stone, matching a stunning slate roof. There are few residences out there to equal the level of luxury of this mansion’s interiors, though.
It comprises a formal living room and dining room which can provide seating for up to 18 guests, a family room with custom manufactured fireplaces and decorations, a state of the art office, informal dining area, sun rooms, a spectacularly paneled library and fully endowed “la Cornue” kitchen.
The path to the second level is paved by a staggering, winding staircase. Here, curious eyes will find the children’s suite, and, more importantly, the master suites. There’s also a third storey, which houses the top notch home gym and a guest bedroom. There’s a custom built elevator which ensures a smooth way between the floors, while every corner of this magnificent home entices the viewers with watery panoramas. Heading downwards, we find out that the lower level houses a vaulted stone wine cellar with integrated tasting room and a state of the art games room.
Outside, the mansion boasts with many stone terraces which provide guests with breathtaking views, a gorgeous pool house endowed with a kitchen and built-in grill, and a majestic in-ground pool for the enthusiasts of swimming. We guess it’s an absolute delight to reside in such a home, on such a property, but you will need a large bank account to be able to enjoy such opulence – $29 million to be precise.
