The guys from Bentley thought the Continental GT V8 could perform even better and they’ve released a special “S” version of this supercar that’s just a little bit faster, packing an extra 21 HP and 20 Nm of torque. The standard GT V8 featured a 4.0L twin turbo V8 that was able to produce 500 hp and 660 Nm of torque, while the “S” version will have 521 hp to power with at 6,000 rpm and 680 Nm of torque at 1,700 rpm.

That’s enough for a slightly faster acceleration time and a better top speed as well. The Bentley Continental GT V8 S sprints from 0 to 62 mph (o-100 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds quicker than the standard model, and its top speed has been increased to 192 mph (309 km/h) instead of the standard 188 mph (303 km/h). The Convertible will be a bit slower with an acceleration time of 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 191 mph.

The “S” version will also come with a ride height lowered by 10mm, 45 percent front / 33 percent rear stiffened spring rates, upgraded dampers, stability control system and a stiffer rear sway bar that will improve handling a bit. A new set of 20 inch alloy wheels and a couple of minor adjustments to the front and rear bumpers have been also added to this supercar.
