Those of you who haven’t heard of the Milan Design Week in Italy, it’s time you got informed a bit. The meeting spot for home owners and design addicts, it had started off in 1961.

A renowned Ukrainian designer named Yaroslav Galant has presented a brand new football table at this year’s event, crafted from DuPont Corian material. It boasts with intricately worked materials and design patterns, combined with contemporary manufacturing techniques.

Traditional Ukrainian art is clearly visible on the table, embroidered by hand in 54,027 holes. The table’s textile elements required a staggering 32 kilometers of thread. The designer considers this pattern to be both energetic and protective.

Apart from this piece of furniture, some of the other items he has presented at the fair in Milan  sport traditional Ukrainian patterns created on high tech fabrics with small holes on their surfaces, so that colored thread can be easily sewn.
