Valentino Balboni

The legend that is Valentino Balboni is back to work, but not behind the steering wheel – where you’d expect to see him. The former Lamborghini driver has decided to take his love for the raging bull even further, setting up his own company, that’s simply called VB, which aims to deliver the best aftermarket products tailored specifically to Lamborghinis.

The first product to bear his name and hit the spotlights is an incredible titanium exhaust for the Lamborghini Aventador SV, that should give a new dimension in sound to this roaring beast. The ultra-light exhaust will be showcased at the Concorso Italiano, during the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, on August 20th, so if you have a chance to get there, make sure you check this out.

From these photos alone, I think we can all agree this exhaust looks beyond stunning, and it’s all because of that all-titanium construction. Part of a limited-edition series of just 30 units, with each taking more than 350 hours of work, this aftermarket marvel will definitely get Aventador owners really excited, but there are no details on how much it costs yet.

Either way, we’re sure it’s worth every single penny, since it’s been designed by the great Valentino Balboni. Driving and testing out the most extreme Lamborghinis for 40 years must have been the most amazing job in the world, which is why everyone envied this man, that even has a supercar named after him, ‘Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni’.
