The tropical paradise that is Bora Bora is an ideal spot for an unforgettable vacation, but even more so, it’s an idyllic location for a truly unique wedding ceremony. To make it even more special, the actual event will be held 13 feet under the turquoise waters of the South Pacific, at a chapel called Te-Ana-Ipo (which is Tahitian for Cave of Love).
Accompanied all the way by the enchanting rhythms of Polynesian music, the couple embarks on a short cruise to the wedding site, which is located in one of the most picturesque parts of Bora Bora. Vows are exchanged underwater with coral rings, while a wedding certificate is presented afterwards. The experience lasts about 25 minutes, but the memories, like the proverbial knot tied in these waters, will last a lifetime.
Once back on land, there’s the choice of either heading back to the hotel (a half-day option), or taking another short trip to a private motu (small island) for a romantic lunch on a quiet white sandy beach (a full day option). Finally, there’s also a photo session planned for the newlyweds, to really immortalize this very special day in one of the most beautiful corners of the world.
