Swiss luxury watchmaker Girard-Perregeaux has released its latest creation, the stunningly beautiful and technically exquisite Tri-Axial Tourbillon.

The timepiece features a fully visible tourbillion that operates on three axes of rotation, which is something extremely rare even for high-end brands. Apart for the eye-catching mechanism, the relatively large, 48 mm pink gold case watch has a silver dial with Clous de Paris motif with pink gold numerals and hour markers. Beneath all of this there is a power reserve indicator, with the Girar-Perregaux initials in pink gold add another decorative element to the dial.

The eagle, which has been the brand’s symbol since 1897, is engraved on the caseback, while a plaque in the arrow shape of the Tourbillon with the Three Bridges` has the individual number of each piece. The skilled artisans over at Girard-Perregeaux have spared no effort in the finishing of each of these pieces, which boast mirror-polished surfaces, chamfering, circular-grained gear train, satin brushed sides and more.

The Tri-Axial Tourbillon by Girard-Perregaux is as pricey as it is beautiful – luxury watch aficionados will have to dig deep into their pockets to pay a staggering $501,900 for one.
