The Adastra superyacht is going to make a billionaire really happy, after it was launched in China a couple of days ago. The sleek $15 million Adastra was designed by Sussex-based yacht designer John Shuttleworth, it took five years to be built and it was commissioned by shipping tycoon Auto Marden.
This catamaran-like superyacht is 42.5 meters long, 16 meters wide and weights 52 tons but it’s also pretty fast thanks to its light, yet really construction from glass and Kevlar. It could reach a high speed of 22.5 knots and it could go for 4,000 miles but the most interesting part is that it can also be controlled with an iPad.
It sports an outside deck aimed for relaxation and lounge purposes, as well as a top deck that lets guests enjoy breathtaking views of the seas. Second, it’s the inside – quite astonishing, really! They can simply equal 4-star hotels, decked with bedroom spaces, baths and a full kitchen.
Overall, this cruiser is quite impressive. Boasting fully futuristic looks and state of the art entertainment systems and amenities, the Adastra will surely make hearts beat for anyone who sees it.
