We’ve seen a lot of electric motorcycle concepts lately, but the one you’re about to see right now will literally knock you off your chair. The radical design of the Japanese zecOO electric motorcycle turned so many heads at the Tokyo Motor Show this march, that it made it head for production.
Reportedly designed by Kota Nezu of Znug Design, this gorgeous two wheel machine will go into small scale production, as there’s already a pretty big demand for it. This low riding, radical bike, impresses us with the single sided swing-arm, the raking, long windshield and hub-center steering, all aided by fully electronic systems.
In addition, although its looks give out a sporty nature, ready to throw you off the seat, its performances are pretty disappointing. A full charge can ensure somewhere between 55 to 85 miles (88 – 136 km), with a top speed of just 120 km/h (75 mph). It’ll take around 6 hours to fully charge the bike.
In a sentence, this motorbike resembles a very expensive, modern, stunningly-looking pair of sneakers, but you can’t run with ’em. It’s price – 6 million Yen or $70,000 per unit, as reported.
