SevenFriday P3C/01 Hot Rod

Specially designed for this year’s Bonneville Speed Week, this jaw dropping SevenFriday watch was meant to keep petrolheads company in the coolest way possible. Called the SevenFriday P3C/01 Hot Rod, this watch will be produced in a very limited run, showing off an incredible design that reminds us of the iconic hot rod cars, allowing it to stand out in a crowded field of car- and racing-inspired watches.

Featuring a wonderful mix of good looks and technical ingenuity, SevenFriday’s new timepiece is definitely a headturner, to say the least. It comes with a frame inspired by the wire rim wheel of a Hot Rod car, a dial referencing an early radiator grille, and a 47 mm grooved case; the crown also bears a wire wheel on its end to complete the racing theme on this beauty.

The SevenFriday P3C/01 Hot Rod also brags about an NFC (near-field communication) chip, which can be programmed with the owner’s information using SevenFriday’s smartphone app, while a Miyota 82S5 movement, operating at 21,600 vph and backed up by a 40-hour power reserve, powers up this cool timepiece.

The watch will be limited to just 450 pieces worldwide, 150 of them being set to adorn US fans’ wrists. Its official premiere has been held at the Bonneville Speed Week, with the experienced speed racer Håkan Karlen showcasing this marvel to the world. The good thing is that the P3C/01 Hot Rod is very cheap, costing just $1,350.
