I guess wristwatches have been our specialty for these weeks, thanks to the SIHH 2013. Piaget has made it to our headlines once again with a wonderful collection for the representatives of the mild gender. They have recently lifted the curtains off the Limelight Gala Collection, a series that comes with a massive Wow! factor.
The watches are reportedly based on the designs of the 1960s, but with elements of today. They boast arrays of precious gems all along their round cases and on the bezels, alongside two extended lugs for each piece. Those gems, progressively sized brilliant-cut diamonds actually, really add some sparkle to these magnificent timepieces.
Measuring 32 mm in diameter, small enough to assort with the delicate hand of a lady, the cases encompass superb dials, with flaunting black Roman numerals which are gorgeously going with the satin strapping. Their functionality is ensured by the in-house manufacture Piaget 690P quarts movement.
The Limelight Gala Collection comprises three particularly distinct models – an 18-carat pink gold watch with white satin strap, an 18-carat white gold piece with glittering dial encrusted with 228 brilliant cut diamonds and bracelet with 451 additional ones, and, finally, an 18-carat white gold wristwatch with black satin strap.
The versions with the white satin strap and the black satin strap feature ardillon buckle sets embellished with 1 brilliant-cut diamond each.
