Chanel J12 XS

Chanel’s newest timepiece, the J12 XS, proves size doesn’t matter, at least when we’re talking about previous watches. A new iteration of the brand’s ceramic J12 watch, the XS version boasts a chic, 19 mm case, with customers having the ability two choose between 4 different variations: a black or white version with a patent leather strap, on its own, or on top of a calfskin cuff in the same color.

Regardless of your taste or preferences, you will have to come up with at least $4,975 for one of these beauties. Chanel’s creative director Karl Largerfeld will allow people to pair this exquisite watch with some black lambskin fingerless gloves from Causse, which actually cost more than the timepiece itself – they’re priced at $7,550, but they are part of a limited edition of just 150 pieces.

The cuff is also available in a larger version, while six of the slender patent leather straps and the high jewelry versions will offer you more options if you’d like something a bit more refined. But these versions will go anywhere between $10,000 to $105,000, so you’ll have to spend a lot more on a J12 XS that’s embedded with diamonds for instance.

A sophisticated sequined cuff has been also designed for this watch by embroidery atelier Lesage, but that costs another $38,000. The J12 XS will hit stores by the end of the month, so there’s plenty of time left in the year if you want to show it off as soon as possible at a cocktail party.
