Before you get too excited about this futuristic project, you should know that the two-wheel marvel before you is just a brilliant design study right now, and it’s nothing official from Porsche. The jaw dropping Porsche 618 motorcycle is meant to offer us a short, yet stunning glimpse of the future.

Imagined by Miguel Angel Bahri to be a pure electric bike, this sci-fi concept honors the famous Porsche 911 Turbo, 918 and 919 hypercars – hence the flat and low-center of gravity, the ravishing exterior design, and also the unique suspension system.

I have to say, I feel somewhat disappointed; I was expecting a two-cylinder flat/boxer engine, destroying everything in its path with a powerful soundtrack. However, the future is all electric, it would seem.

Whenever I think 911 Turbo I think about incredible driving dynamics and the experience of a lifetime. As such, the battery pack has been fitted at the heart of the bike for enhanced stability and turning. When the time comes, recharging will take place once the luggage compartment opens up its classy Le Mans style doors.

An 8″ touch sensitive digital instrument panel gives you feedback in the most interesting way possible, and moreover, Android and iOS smart devices work alongside the panel, with wireless charging capabilities that will make sure your smartphone is on as long as possible. Would you like to ride the Porsche 618 Concept around town?
