The first images with the all-new 2012 Audi A6 Sedan have been leaked on the internet today, months before it’s official premiere. The new executive mid-sedan from Audi is based on the Audi A7 Sportback and it almost looks like a sedan version of this car.
The similarities between the two models are even more obvious inside with the A6’s interior being almost identical to the A7 Sportback. Of course, there are a few differences between the two cars such as the door panel detailing inside or outside a less curvy roof line or a more mundane rear end for the 2012 Audi A6.
Under the hood, the Ingolstadt automaker will probably bring it’s usual engine line-up with units such as a 3.0L TFSI supercharged engine with 300 horsepower, 3.0L V6 TDI units, a more powerful “S” version and maybe even an “RS” model might follow.
Audi will probably reveal m ore details about the new Audi A6 at the Detroit Auto Show.
