Kawasaki has revealed a couple of days ago the latest iteration of their beloved superbike, and that is the sexy 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Looking quite similar to its predecessor on an aesthetic level, this superbike has several improvements in terms of performances that will make bikers happy.
The 998cc in-line four cylinder engine powering the new Ninja superbike comes with new pistons, camshafts, a new cylinder head and primary gear, not to mention a lighter crankshaft, redesigned porting with electronic throttle valves and a 25 percent bigger airbox.
All these improved components translate to a more powerful engine, with 210 horsepower and 83.7 lb-ft of torque, which is incredible for just two wheels. If those numbers scare you, you should know that an intelligent braking system, complete with Brembo brakes up front, will make sure the rider gets wherever he or she wants, as safe as possible.
The 2016 Kawasaki Ninja also comes with the Cornering Management function, which helps even rookie riders corner like a pro, if they’re into such things. In terms of pricing, the base model Ninja ZX-10R will start off at $15,999.
