The Caterham Seven 310 is the latest addition to the British company’s impressive lineup of ultralight sports cars, a new in-between model that’s claiming to have the perfect balance of power and confidence-inspiring handling, according to Caterham.
Priced at exactly £24,995 (or around $32,505), the Seven 310 has 17 HP more than the entry-level Seven 270, thanks to upgraded camshafts and some engine remapping. Also worth mentioning are the LED headlights, a company first, and other bits and pieces that set this ride apart.
The total power output stands at 152 hp, which means the Caterham Seven 310 will do 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mere 4.8 seconds and max out at 126 mph (203 km/h). If you’re already one of the lucky owners of a Seven 270, you should know you could easily upgrade it to 310 specs, if you’re willing to pay an extra £1,495 ($1,944). Could anyone say ‘no’ to a Caterham upgrade?
According to the automaker’s engineers, the race engine upgrade was far too impressive to be considered an option for upgrade, hence the 310 model. We doubt anyone will ignore this vehicle, considering that Caterham always delivers the next best thing and ultimate thrills. Speaking of deliveries, the 310 will hit the streets early next years, with orders already welcomed.
