Tag Heuer is a Swiss brand that’s very well known all over the world for its excellent watches and bespoke fashion accessories; the company has even entered the eyewear and cell phone markets recently, but you probably didn’t expect to see it involved in any way in the production of longboards – until now, at least.
Geun Pack, a youn student at the Hongik University, South Korea, has designed an electric skateboard prototype that might solve our problem with commuting to and from work, or school, in the near future. Called the Tag Heuer Board, this unique project plans to make everything better, while looking extremely cool.
This longboard shows off a modern and elegant design, featuring a gorgeous mix of matte carbon fiber and rose gold trimmings, on its wheels and deck, while offering incredible performances for a board. This electric thing will easily reach speeds of up to 60 mph and will continue to do so for up to 35 miles before requiring to be plugged in.
An effective means of getting from point A to B, Geun Pack’s Tag Heuer longboard brags about a remote control and an LED interface; there’s even a built-in compartment that can store said remote. To be honest, I really don’t know why this project bears the TAG Heuer badge, but maybe the Swiss label could turn this thing into reality.
