I think it’s safe to say we’ve all heard of Sharon Stone, superstar and actress, the main attraction from the fabled series “Basic Instinct”. She currently resides in Beverly Hills, in a large mansion she had acquired in 1995 for $3.2 million. Yet, she doesn’t only own that particular estate, but also a Mediterranean style mansion in the same Beverly Hills, which she had bought for $11 million in 2006. The residence is now listed for sale at $7.5 million.
Located a mere two miles from the famous Sunset Boulevard, this private, momentarily unoccupied Beverly Glen property can be found at the end of a private roadway. The 4.85 acre property boasts with fruit trees, a meditation garden, a pool which resembles the ones in resorts, a tennis court with viewing pavilion, covered parking for 14 cars, bridges and even waterfalls.
As it is currently free of residents, the mansion features minimal furnishing. Having been built in 1991, the main mansion features a chef’s kitchen, paneled library with elegant built-in bookcases, a huge living room with wet bar and extremely high ceilings.
According to the information we received, the property comprises a total of 7 bedrooms, 5 in the main house and 2 in an additional guest house, plus a total of 8 and a half bathrooms. The guest house also comes with its own gym and state of the art media system.
Just 4 months after Sharon Stone bought it, she listed it for $12.5 million, in order to get some profit. Sadly, the process was unsuccessful – after two excruciating years in which the residence was put off and on the market, its price had to be gradually lowered, in order to entice some clientele.
The last price before the actual $7.5 million was a whopping larger $8.995 million. The agent who can be consulted for the listing is Joe Babajian of Rodeo Realty, in Beverly Hills.
