Some say money can’t buy happiness, but if you have enough, it can buy you a Bugatti, and let’s be honest.. have you ever seen anyone sad while driving a Veyron? Until a couple of years ago, we were only talking about this ravishing supercar, and its much more incredible sibling, the Veyron SuperSport, but things got a whole lot better this year for Bugatti, with the launch of the new Bugatti Chiron.
Premiered at the Geneva Motor Show, this breathtaking supercar took the world by storm with superb design and jaw dropping specs, but guess what? A Saudi Prince seems to have bought exactly the Bugatti Chiron show car from Geneva and.. also Bugatti’s unique Vision Gran Turismo Concept car we were all drooling over last year.
I guess the right amount of money can buy anything, but there’s no surprise here, really, since none of us mere mortals could have afforded such jewels – how does more than $5 million for two cars sound? Outrageous, obviously, but this price is totally matching the heart-stopping performances and aesthetic appeal of these vehicles.
We know of the quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine powering up these rides, and the rest is still a surprise. It’s fun to guess, right? Development of the Chiron is still continuing, which means this Chiron nothing more than a really expensive decorative piece right now, fun to show off at parties and brag about, but who knows? maybe the billionaire Saudi prince could ask Bugatti to make it even more extreme.
I’m expecting his car collection to comprise some of the world’s most incredible, not to mention super rare vehicles – anyone else thinking ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’? The best news for all of us is that you could actually see these two beauties live, displayed for the first time together at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
This is definitely going to be the highlight of the show, as the Chiron and the Vision Gran Turismo concept look like a match made in heaven. I’m guessing admiring these beauties won’t be so costly, right? I’d play Foxy Casino all day long just for the chance to get inside one of them.
