The recent departure of Nancy Reagan, the former First Lady and wife of Ronald Wilson Reagan, the 40th President of the United States, has forced us all to remember a great man, and pay our respects to the strong woman behind him as well.

The renowned presidential couple lived in this stunning property in Pacific Palisades, California, which has been recently listed on the market for $33 million.

The home where Mr. Reagan was showering when it was announced he had won the presidency of the United States no longer exists, although the bar from Reagan’s living room has been incorporated into the new design of this lavish property.

Even the door of the famous shower has been restored and installed in a bathroom off the library, which is both interesting and a bit odd, to be honest.

The beautiful property shows off a new 10,000-square-foot house, including five bedrooms plus staff quarters. Also worth mentioning are the gym, a 2,000-bottle temperature-controlled wine room, along with a powder room lined with peacock feathers.

The 2,000-square-foot master suite comes with a shoe closet that can hold 365 pairs of footwear, that should be more than enough for everyone. Stunning views of the ocean and the city skyline are also on offer, with future owners of the estate also getting to enjoy a heated pool, a guest house and two garages.

One of those two garages comes with a bar and Kegerator that dispenses beer, which sounds pretty awesome, right? The private Presidential Rose Garden is always a welcomed bonus, reminding everyone what this place is all about.
