Voyager Firefly

By unveiling their flagship model of the Voyager line, the beautiful Firefly, Dutch shipyard Mulder has probably ruined every millionaire’s Christmas budget. Designed by an all star team, this amazing yacht combines luxury with comfort and exceptional space, offering unparalleled cruising capabilities and safety.

Mulder’s new 94 Voyager looks like a winner, that’s for sure. Frank Laupman of Omega Architects is the one credited for the yacht’s sleek & modern looks, with a striking main deck that features oversized windows, plus angled forward and aft fashion plates which blend the superstructure seamlessly.

The idea behind Firefly’s sundeck was to have a spacious area, for relaxation and social interaction. Mulder also added large sun lights, for an open and light area, while the aft section was fitted with a davit crane to launch and retrieve the yacht’s tender, and can easily be transformed in an open sun bathing area with panoramic views.

A lovely aft seating area on main deck offers an ideal spot for a light breakfasts or an elegant meeting area before heading out. This is where you can see the large swim platform from, which has been designed for days of endless fun in the water. The platform features a separate hydraulic lift system, allowing it to store jet skis or a tender when moving between anchorages. Perfect for sundown drinks and savoring the breeze, the foredeck offers a secluded hideout for guests to enjoy.

On the inside, the Vickers Studio design house went for a beautifully relaxing beach house style atmosphere to please the owner. The main salon features accents of bright blues and white textured fabrics, perfect for sipping from a smooth glass of wine.

On the lower deck, four staterooms provide accommodation for 8 guests. The full beam master cabin is situated aft and features the same light blue and white tones theme found on the main deck. World renowned artist Rado Kirov was commissioned to sculpt a custom piece that now adds a soft contrast to the nautical theme of the master cabin.

Mulder fitted the Firefly with two low rpm derived Caterpillar C18 engines, resulting in exceptional fuel efficiency and ultra low noise levels. The vessel will reach a top speed of 18 knots if required, while the stabilizers from Naiad Dynamics make sure a stable ride is part of your trip. Firefly is currently for sale through West Nautical, but we’re clueless regarding its price-tag.
