Montblanc Star Roman Carpe Diem Special Edition Watches
Montblanc has always impressed us with bespoke, high end writing instruments, but in these last couple of years, the German label has transitioned into a serious player in the watchmaking industry as well.
That’s why today we’ve decided to focus on the brand’s newest collection of watches, called Montblanc Star Roman, which includes three gorgeous options – the Small Second “Carpe Diem” Special Edition, the Quantième Complet “Carpe Diem” Special Edition and the Chronograph UTC “Carpe Diem” Special Edition.
As expected, there’s a strong connection between the brand’s pens and the Montblanc Star Roman collection, that could be noticed even on the case of these watches; here, you can find the same set of three rings that’s also showcased on Montblanc’s signature Meisterstück fountain pen. We’re sure you will also notice the resin insert in the onion crown, where the Montblanc star makes an appearance as well.
The Montblanc Star Roman Quantième Complet “Carpe Diem” Special Edition tracks every aspect of the day, which explains the date, day, and month features, as well as the moon phase indicator. It comes with 42 mm case, featuring an MB 29.12 automatic movement, that boasts a 42-hour power reserve and operates at 28,800 vph.
All watches in this collection are water resistant for up to 30 meters. The Montblanc Star Roman Chronograph UTC “Carpe Diem” Special Edition adds a chronograph to the stylish mix, with a special UTC reference that’s about the GMT complication, which is joined by an MB 25.03 movement.
Last, but not least, the Montblanc Star Roman Small Second “Carpe Diem” Special Edition features a visually identical case with the other two watches – although it’s just 39 mm in size. This watch comes with the MB 24.16 automatic movement – a 38-hour power reserve and 28,800 vph.
If you like what you see, you should know that the watches in the Montblanc Star Roman collection are priced between 2,890 and 4,550 EUR.
