Antonio Meze, the mind behind the luxurious Meze headphones, presents his latest Meze 88 classic wooden headphones, the perfect example of how technology meets fashion. Antonio comes from Romania and he’s an IDSA award winning industrial designer. His works express style, passion and great quality.

Aided by a team of designers, sound engineers and musicians, through incredible attention to detail, he managed to put together high quality materials and a load of state of the art technology, in the form of the respective Meze 88 Classic headphones. Customers will surely adore them the minute they get to see them.

Every handcrafted ear cup measures 88 mm in diameter and it’s made of ebony wood enclosure, producing superb, crystal clear sounds. The headband is crafted from polycarbonate and includes suspension padding, decked with dedicated 50 mm Neodymium drivers. All these allow for a near perfect fit.

These headphones feature noise isolation and a detachable TPE cable. They are perfectly compatible with iPads, iPhones, iPods and every audio format of today. Their frequency response ranges between 20 Hz and 20 KHz, while they boast a 40 Ohm impedance. Add a sensitivity of 107 +/- 3 dB at 1 KHz and 1 mW, and you’ll be surprised by the quality of the sounds they produce. The plugs are gold plated, measuring 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm, and one side cable is completely detachable.

They come in three different models: the 76 Classics for on-ear usage, 55 Classics – high-tech foldable headphones -, and the 88 Classics for music aficionados, the top of the series. They can already be pre-ordered from the main Meze site.
