Mercedes is a brand that really doesn’t need any introduction. It has an eye for luxury, which it combines perfectly with the legendary German engineering in order to create real gems on four wheels. One of their latest is the S-Class Coupe.
This stylish and sleek two-door coupe will be publicly unveiled next month at the Geneva Motor Show. Till then, here is some of the information the German manufacturer has released about the new model.
Its design combines a long hood with a low greenhouse and muscular wheel arches, with rims ranging in sizes from 18 to 20 inches.
The interior design is similar to the sedan, but with the analog clock being removed and the “Super Sport” steering wheel being added. There are two individual seats in the back, while the interior can now be had in new saddle brown, Bengal red and porcelain hues. There’s also an option to add a full-color LED display projecting the virtual image with relevant details into the driver’s field of vision to avoid distractions.
One of this model’s more interesting features will the improved version of the Magic Body Control system, a curve tilting function which allows the car to lean into bends like a motorcyclist or a skier. And for those who like to add a little bit of glamour to their driving, there’s also the option to include headlamps with 47 Swarovski crystals, with 17 angular ones forming the flare-shaped daytime running lamps while the other 30 are round and form the turn indicator lamps.
Mercedes-Benz has announced that the 2015 S-Class Coupe will be available starting in the second half of this year.
