British luxury powerboat manufacturer Hunton, sometimes referred to as “the Aston Martin of the seas”, is now selling its high-performance powerboats and tenders in the USA. Connecticut-based company Total Marine is set to be the exclusive US distributor of the Hunton line – and the first to be distributed is the XRS37 model.

Fiona Pool, Hunton’s managing director, stated that the XRS37 is the ideal first boat to bring to the new market, as its great design and features perfectly reflect show* why the company is held in such high regard in the UK and Europe. She has also added that last year had been great for Hunton, with the Total Marine partnership being the proverbial icing on the cake, while also reminding of the success other British brands, like Aston Martin and Range Rover, have had in the US, with Hunton hoping to go the same way.

The XRS37 reaches a top speed between 50 and 60 knots, and has a range of 250 nautical miles. The exterior is charcoal grey, while the interior is designed in the style of fine British furniture. Every Hunton boat is built according to the customer’s specifications, allowing for close cooperation between the client and the design team, which means each watercraft is unique in its own way.
