We’ve heard great things about Maserati – the Italian automotive brand has announced a partnership with Ermenegildo Zegna purposed to produce a limited edition of their Quattroporte model.
The Maserati Quattroporte Limited Edition will reportedly celebrate Maserati’s centennial in 2014, “reinterpreted and customized with new colors, materials and trims”.
The brand hasn’t yet released any pictures of the model, but they say it will feature fabrics manufactured at the legendary Lanificio Zegna wool mill in Italy’s Trivero.
Maserati officials have also said that the limited edition will comprise 100 units and that a concept of it will be unveiled at one of the upcoming auto shows. Furthermore, even more interestingly, in 2015 the cars will be provided with a “whole range of new optional trims by Zegna”, while for 2016 the partnership will reportedly expand to provide customers with “tailor-made solutions” like exclusive trim and paintjobs. Here’s a gallery with some Quattroporte cars.
