Russian supercar maker Marussia showcased their newest model, the stunning Marussia B2, at the Geneva Motor Show these days. The B2 model is actually an evolution in terms of design and technology of the Marussia B1, formerly presented at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new two-seater care weight just over 1,100 kg (2,425 pounds), being available in three different motorization options: a double-variant of a 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 coming from Cosworth, delivering either 360 HP or 420 HP, or a more docile version, a naturally-aspirated 3.5-liter V6 with an output of 300 HP. A 6-speed automatic transmission helps transmitting the respective power to the wheels.
The top motorization accelerates from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of more than 155 mph (250 km/h). This is quite stunning, considering that it is all accomplished thanks to a rather medium-sized engine.
